The Funnel Beaker culture represents the predominant phase of settlement at site 5 in Kazimierza Wielka.
A total of 55 features are associated with this settlement along with approximately 2,300 pottery fragments and a small number of other artefacts. The pottery discovered at the site comprises vessel types typical of the classical phase of the Funnel Beaker culture in western Małopolska. These include funnel-shaped beakers, beakers with ansa lunata handles, hemispherical and profiled bowls, vases, amphoras, flasks, and bag-shaped and carinated pots. Beakers and certain other vessels (such as hemispherical bowls and vases) are richly ornamented. The most frequent decorative motif is a row of vertical stamp impressions placed just below the rim, often accompanied by zigzagging rows of similar stamp impressions. Another common decorative element consists of impressions created with a multi-toothed comb. Many vessels are adorned with artistic ornaments, primarily strips marked with fingerprints or cuts. Various types of knobs were also observed. The set of non-portable features discovered at site 5 in Kazimierza Wielka consists primarily of pits of varying forms. Among these, deep circular pits with a trapezoidal cross-section are the most dominant. Functionally, these features are significant, as they likely served as cellars accompanying residential structures, marking the locations of households. Smaller, basin-shaped pits were also identified. The settlement appears to have undergone two construction phases. Evidence suggests the younger phase ended under dramatic circumstances, as indicated by human remains found in four pits. These include three complete human skeletons discovered in settlement pits 8, 62 and 83. A human skull was discovered in feature 85. The ceramic materials from the settlement in Kazimierza Wielka exhibit traits characteristic of the developed Bronocice II phase and potentially the early Bronocice III phase. This places the site within the classical phase of the Funnel Beaker culture in western Małopolska, dated to approximately 3600–3400 BC.
