Abstract: The aim of the article is a short and very general description of the small collection of Ptolemaic coins kept in the National Museum in Krakow (hereafter NMK). It is a case study, presenting a statistical and provenance analysis of a Polish museum’s collection of Ptolemaic coins. The text is limited to the general characteristics of this collection and basic information about its history. An attempt is made to highlight the typical and atypical features that characterize the NMK collection.
