Abstract: A very unique cylindrical seal was found during excavations at the Metsamor site (Armenia). It was identified as an object of Babylonian provenance dating to the reign of the Kassite dynasty. This interpretation was possible thanks to the inscription engraved on the seal’s surface in Egyptian hieroglyphics. The representations accompanying the text are, strongly intriguing. This text attempts to re-examine and interpret this unique monument.
