Procedura wydawnicza

Procedura ewaluacji prac do publikacji

Procedura kwalifikacji prac do druku w naszym wydawnictwie przebiega w następujący sposób:

5. Zaakceptowane manuskrypty poddawane są drobiazgowej redakcji merytorycznej, technicznej oraz językowej (z native-speakerem), a następnie przechodzą do finalnych faz procedury wydawniczej (skład, druk, dystrybucja metadanych i samej publikacji).

Procedure of evaluation for publication

The procedure for qualifying works for publication is as follows:

1. The submitted or proposed works are evaluated in terms of content and of ethics by the internal decision-making committee of the Profil-Archeo Publishing House, or editors of appropiate series, in case of submitting the manuscript to one of our series.

2. Selected proposals are consulted by external experts (in case of publications not meant to be publish in a series), or an editorial board of a series.

3. The approved works are peer-reviewed by independent experts; the reviews are made according to blind review process rule. The reviewers are independent researchers representing the specialization to which the publication relates (one for monographs up to 10 sheets; two for larger works).

4. In agreement with the client, the financing formula for the publication is selected (grants, subsidies, our investment). We do not publish works at the expense of the author or authors (natural persons), nor do we depart from the above evaluation procedure because of the adopted funding path.

5. The works qualified for publication undergo a comprehensive editorial work, proof-reading and language corrections by a native speaker, and then go to the final stages of the publishing procedure (type-setting, printing, distribution of metadata and the publication itself).
